One of the pedagogical foundations of the Base NacionalComum Curricular is the committed to integral education. In this sense, Basic Education should aim:
  1. ATo formation and global human development, whichimplies understanding the complexity andnon-linearity of this development, breaking withreductionist visions that privilege either theintellectual (cognitive) dimension or the affectivedimension.
  2. BTo construct of knowledge primarily focused on ExactSciences and Nature, from a scientific andtechnological perspective.
  3. CTo respect and tolerance for what is different, from anethnocentric vision and focused on the Europeanpedagogical cultural tradition.
  4. DTo create of more technical schools focused ongenerating income and training qualified labor for thejob market.
  5. ETo expand partnerships between public and privateeducational institutions so that they fund them.
