The postmethod condition is a sustainable state of affairs that compels us to fundamentally restructureour view of language teaching and teacher education. It urges us to review the character and content ofclassroom teaching in all its pedagogical and ideological perspectives. It drives us to streamline our teachereducation by refiguring the reified relationship between theory and practice. In short, it demands that weseriously contemplate the essentials of a coherent postmethod pedagogy. KUMARAVADIVELU, B. Considering the ideas contained in the text, a successful lesson plan should include activities that
- Afocus on traditional reading exercises and comprehension questions to encourage students toindependently understand the texts about eclectic cultural practices and gender-related problems.
- Buse drills and quizzes, as well as songs for listening comprehension activities and cartoons to improvestudents’ autonomy, considering the literary topics discussed through a more conventional-oriented method.
- Cmotivate students to improve their linguistic knowledge, as grammar structure and vocabularyacquisition-based methods, taking into consideration the use of literary genres to work on culturalstudies and gender issues.
- Dare skill-integrated, based on the conjunction of different methods perspectives, to motivate studentsby promoting their awareness and autonomy during the construction of their own knowledge,regarding the literary movement themes studied.
