According to this research, multimodality theory can help students
  1. Aanalyze all aspects of text production being more critical and understand better the context around them, mainly the socio-cultural context of images that emphasizes questions related to worldview, emotion, attitudes, values and power relationships.
  2. Bnot to explore the linguistic aspect of the pictures; they did not mention colors, size, focus, background, or sharpness, perhaps because in everyday classes the students are not encouraged to talk about them.
  3. Cuse some concepts from the theory and point to all aspects of the three dimensions, like who was in the picture, what the writer’s intention was and develop speaking skill as well.
  4. Dtalk about the colors and the background of the picture pointing to the dark color, why the writer had used that image and not another one, always arguing about what is on the surface of a text.
  5. Emake a reflexion about their lives associating the man’s face to the world problems and not with theirs.
