There are a few important rules for using pronouns. In addition, it can be divided into numerous categories. There are some examples in all alternatives below, with the exception of:
  1. AIntensive pronouns – those ending in –self or – selves and that serve to emphasize their antecedents.
  2. BPossessive pronouns – those designating possession or ownership.
  3. CInterrogative pronouns – those which introduce a question.
  4. DReciprocal pronouns – those preceded by the adverb, adjective, pronoun, or noun to which they refer, and ending in –self or –selves.
