From reading the text, one can infer that
  1. Acohesive devices are more important than coherence devices because they are more numerous.
  2. Busing cohesion, but not coherence (and vice-versa), in a text will hinder understanding.
  3. Cif the text is in the right order, than the reader is bound to understand it because it simply makes sense.
  4. Da written text that is out of order is still easily understood if the author used cohesive devices such as ellipsis and substitution.
  5. Ewritten and spoken texts use the same cohesive devices.
